Three people shipped a SaaS in a weekend. None of them wrote a for-loop. Here's what actually happened.

Last weekend three people I follow shipped a working product. Real users, real payments, the lot. Between them they wrote almost no code by hand — they described, the model built, and they edited with taste. That last word is the whole game.

We keep asking whether AI can replace builders. Wrong question. The interesting bit is what it removes: the boilerplate, the blank page, the day you lose to a config file. What's left is judgement — knowing what to build, and when to stop.

The vibe coders aren't winning because they're faster typists. They're winning because the cost of trying something dropped to almost zero, and they try more things. Ten cheap experiments beat one expensive guess, every time.

So here's the signal: stop optimising your prompt library and start optimising your taste. The operators who win in 2026 are editors, not typists.
